The measured value detection and processing unit (5) has a measuring circuit with at least one sensor stage (6), an A/D converter (7) and a digital signal processor (8), a switch element (10) allowing the measuring circuit to be short-circuited by connection to a reference potential (AGND), for detection of background noise signals. The digital signal processor provides digital compensation of the detected noise.
