A malfunction preventing apparatus of the light power generation tracker is provided to mechanically block power transmission and to prevent the accident due to the malfunction of tracker. The worm gear(20) is installed between the tracer and the fixed supporter. The solar module is mounted in the tracer. The worm gear drives the object by the power of the drive motor. The ball tooth part(24) is formed in one side of circumference of the worm wheel(21) of the worm gear. In the ball tooth part, the worm gear and worm(22) run idle to block the power transmission.
