<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive planographic printing plate original form for an infrared laser that excels in inking property of an image area, obtains good prints, excels also in developability, and suppresses the generation of scum and sludge in a developer even if many precursors are continuously processed. <P>SOLUTION: The photosensitive planographic printing plate original form for an infrared laser is obtained by providing a single layer or a plurality of photosensitive layers on a support having a hydrophilic surface, wherein the outermost layer of the photosensitive layers includes an infrared absorbent and a copolymer that includes, as copolymerization components, (i) an acrylate or methacrylate having a ≥4C alkyl group, (ii) an acrylate or methacrylate having a 1-3C alkyl group, and (iii) a polymerizing monomer having an acid group, the amount of the acrylate or methacrylate having a ≥4C alkyl group being in a range of 0.1-20 mol% of the copolymer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
