PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine capable of preventing facsimile printing on a form that a user does not intend, and the control method of the facsimile machine. SOLUTION: After printing other than facsimile, i.e. the printing in a copy mode, print mode, or memory card mode, a form confirmation picture prompting the user to confirm the kind of a form set in a paper feed tray is displayed on a display panel (step S410). The user can confirm the form set in the paper feed tray after the printing other than the facsimile, so facsimile printing on the form that the user does not intend can be prevented.
