<p>A palletised vessel (1) holds liquids during transport and storage, and has an inner polyethylene tank (2) with a base (3) and top (4) with a filling inlet (5) and screw cap (6). Liquid is drained as required through a tap-controlled (8) outlet (7). The vessel (1) is enclosed by a grid mantle (9) made of metal rods (10,11), and rests on a pallet base (12). The plastic inner tank (2) is surrounded by a sheath (19) formed of an electrically conducting material e.g. thin wire. Electrical charges which may (betaken) up while the tank (2) is filled with liquid, are discharged to the wire metal sheath (18), the outer mantle (9), the base pan (13), the corner and middle feet (15,16) and foot frame (17).</p> |
