<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the oviduct-specific expression and the production of a protein at a practical level by using a promoter sequence functioning specifically to an avian oviduct as a method for producing a highly functional protein in a common egg, and solving the problem in a method for producing a highly functional protein for medicinal use by using a production technique with an egg of a transgenic hen, causing expression death in a systemic expression promoter which gives much expression quantity and may develop toxicity to the host in some objective proteins. <P>SOLUTION: The production of objective foreign protein in high productivity in an avian oviduct cell is achieved by realizing the oviduct-specific expression using an ovalbumin promoter and increasing its transcriptional activity. A transgenic hen exhibiting high expression in the oviduct can be prepared by cutting an ovalbumin promoter sequence to obtain the shortest possible sequence enabling the oviduct-specific expression, integrating VP16 factor derived from a tetracycline-responding herpes virus as a transcription activation factor to prepare a retrovirus vector increasing the transcriptional activity of the ovalbumin promoter, and preparing a transgenic hen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
