PURPOSE: Electronic component position arrangement device and method for the same mount the electronic components to electronic component mounting part of PCB without an error. CONSTITUTION: The electronic component position arrangement device includes absorption part for absorbing the electronic component(13), a light source(15) for illuminating a light, an optical detector(16) which is mounted to a position facing the light source and detects the illuminated light, and a controller for measuring a position and angle coordinates of the electronic component(13) by using the detected light. Thereby, a position error of the electronic components can be corrected.
