A method for displaying an address book of a mobile communication terminal is provided to offer a cloud-type address book so that a user of the terminal can easily and conveniently distinguish contacts within the address book. An input recognition part(110) recognizes clearly an input action which a user inputs through a touch screen of a mobile communication terminal. A display unit(120) displays a contact cloud, showing the address book in the form of a tag cloud, on the touch screen. A communications unit(130) performs a voice phone call or transceives a short message through the mobile terminal. A correlation calculating unit(150) produces the correlation between a specific address stored in the address book of the mobile terminal and the terminal user based on communication records stored in a communication history DB(140), wherein the communication records include originated voice calls and short messages, received voice calls and short messages, each response time to the voice calls and short messages, the number of calls received during absence, and the size of originated and received short messages. A contact cloud generating unit(160) determines a method of displaying each contact and generates the contact cloud.
