an interface operatively coupled to a display panel via a main link; a controller operative to perform link training for one or more display segments of the display panel by communicating a link training pattern sequence on each of a plurality lanes of the main link, identify one or more display segments of the display panel, each display segment associated with one of a plurality of lanes of the main link, and independently control enabling and disabling of the display segments and associated lanes; and a memory to store a media stream having a video data, display data, or audio data to be communicated over one or more lanes. |
