FIELD: transport engineering; conveyance pf passengers and loads. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed overhead two-rail tramway includes rail base suspended over ground on wire ropes by means of hangers. Wire ropes are suspended from two sides of rails on vertical supports. Two rails are arranged on base. Rail base includes continuous row of horizontally arranged cross fastening members, for instance, ties, or plates, or bars, on upper surface of which two track rails are secured designed for car of train. Axes of symmetry of both rails in space do not intersect. ^ EFFECT: provision of movement of train over upper surface of rail base by means of propulsion devices in form of wheelsets connected by common axle. ^ 3 dwg |
