PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic field forming device for space capable of easily adjusting strength and weakness or the like of potential and electromagnetic field, capable of giving displacement in the ion balance of the air in a certain target closed space, or promoting uneven distribution of negative ions. SOLUTION: The equipment main body 2 comprises a resistor which is connected between a primary side and a secondary side of a step-up transformer and is established of resistance value and a series and a parallel resistors which are connected to the secondary side output respectively in series and parallel and are established of resistance value. A mesh-like electrode body 3 of sheet-shape is connected to the open end of the series resistor of the equipment main body 2. This mesh-like electrode body 3 is arranged in a closed space (for example, living room space 10). By this structure, an electromagnetic field is formed in the closed space and, by setting of the parallel resistor and the series resistor, adjustment of strength and weakness of the potential and electromagnetic field is possible, which can give displacement in the ion balance in the air existing in the closed space, and can promote uneven distribution of the negative ion, thereby maintaining the air suitably.
