PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional bathtub cover wherein the heat insulating performance is impaired as water penetrates into a vacuum heat-insulating material and the vacuum degree declines because the heat-insulating bathtub cover is used under the high-humidity condition. SOLUTION: The heat-insulating bathtub cover 5 is made of a vacuum heat-insulating material 6 which vacuum-seals a plurality of core materials 8 covered with a laminated film 9 in an independent space on the same flat plane and a waterproof cover member 7 covering the vacuum heat-insulating material 6. The part of the cover member 7 covering the space between the core materials 8 is flexible. As the vacuum heat-insulating material 6 is covered with the waterproof cover member 7, the risk of contact of the vacuum heat-insulating material 6 with water can be reduced and the risk of penetration of water into the vacuum heat-insulating material 6 can be also reduced. As a result, the vacuum degree does not decline, and therefore, impairment of the heat insulating performance of the bathtub cover can be inhibited and the heat insulating performance can be retained for a long period of time.
