PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for a vessel thruster device capable of easily mounting the thruster device from the outside of a stern board and also capable of mounting the device to a vessel having a small engine room. SOLUTION: The structure is for mounting the thruster device 16 having a thrust generation part 17 and a power part 18 to the stern board 14 of the hull. In the thruster device 16, the thrust generation part 17 and the power part 18 are assembled in advance. A mounting flange part 19 is formed between/around the thrust generation part 17 and the power part 18. An insertion hole 14a with its size for inserting the power part 18 is formed at a predetermined position on the stern board 14. The power part 18 of the thruster device 16 is inserted into the insertion hole 14a from the outside of the stern board 14 and the mounting flange part 19 is mounted to the outside of the stern board 14.
