PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor which can be used in a comparatively wide temperature range and can be inexpensively produced.SOLUTION: A brushless electric motor 7 with a drive circuit 13 comprises: means 1 to determine an ambient temperature; means to restrict output torque to a determined maximum torque; and means to change the maximum torque, depending on the ambient temperature, so as to be capable of lowering the maximum torque in accordance with raising of the ambient temperature and raising the maximum torque in accordance with lowering of the ambient temperature. |
