PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of suppressing occurrence of both moire and blur even when performing deformation processing, such as reduction and magnification of image size, and geometric deformation, AM screening processing, registration processing, and digital imaging processing due to photographing or reading.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes: generation means for extracting a low frequency component lower than a first cutoff frequency from an input image, and generating a low frequency component image on the basis of the extracted low frequency component; deformation means for deforming the input image to generate a deformation image; filter means for extracting a high frequency component higher than a second cutoff frequency from a second deformation image to generate a high frequency component image; and addition means for adding the low frequency component image to the high frequency component image to generate an output image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
