<p>A door handle for a vehicle is fitted with sensors to monitor the position of a hand in proximity of the handle, and to activate a control circuit which prepares the door mechanism for opening, thereby reducing and time lag in the door opening sequence. The sensor, and transmitting module, have a plug in fitting. The control area is the space between the handle and the door. For cabriolets the system can be used to move the windows prior to door opening.</p> |
