PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press-fit terminal capable of reducing an insertion weight in a middle of inserting, and increasing a spring wight when the insertion is completed.SOLUTION: A press-fit terminal 1 comprises a base part 2, a press-fit part 3 and a tip part 4. The press-fit part 3 includes a pair of right and left pressure-welding parts 3A and 3B facing each other. A penetration hole 5 for forming a gap is formed for forming the gap between the pair of pressure-welding parts 3A and 3B between the base part 2 and the tip part 4. The penetration hole 5 for forming a gap is formed at a principal penetration hole 5A, and the base part 2 side and the tip part 4 side to the principal penetration hole 5A, respectively, and includes a pair of vertical penetration holes 5B and 5C for changing spring characteristics communicating to the principal penetration hole 5A. A gap width between the pair of pressure-welding parts 3A and 3B formed by the principal penetration hole 5A is minimum in a communication part with the penetration holes 5B and 5C for changing spring characteristics. The gap width between the pair of pressure-welding parts 3A and 3B formed by the communication part is smaller than an interference.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
