PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat having a monitor device with a display surface large for the dimension of a whole device body and having aesthetic appearance and high functionality. SOLUTION: The monitor device 10 capable of displaying images is installed at the top part of a seat back 3. The monitor device 10 incorporates a pedestal part 20 fixed to the seat back 3, a support part 30 erected on the pedestal part 20 and supporting the monitor 12 from its back face, and the monitor 12 with the display surface 11 of the monitor 12 exposed to the outer surface; and is provided with a monitor part 40 adapted to be turned relative to the support part 30 when it is pivoted at the support part 30 via a hinge 55. The hinge part 55 to be a turning shaft of the monitor part 40 is provided in the back face of the monitor part 40 so as not to project outward from the left/right ends of the monitor part 40.
