A steel plate frame for constructing a clay house and a method of constructing the clay house using the same are provided to build a clay house capable of withstanding strong external forces by using a pair of perforated steel plates and installing steel pillars between the perforated steel plates. A steel plate frame for constructing a clay house comprises a pair of perforated steel plates(11) opposing each other and having plural through holes(11a), and steel pillars(12) arranged between the two perforated steel plates to connect the two steel plates. A method of constructing a clay house using the steel plate frame comprises the steps of: installing the steel frame(10); filling the inside of the steel frame with a clay filling material comprising clay and saw dusts; coating the outer surfaces of the perforated steel plates with clay composing material composed of clay, saw dust, water, and water soluble adhesives; covering and pressing nets on the clay composing material coating; coating a clay paint on with the nets; and applying a coating material on an indoor side surface of the clay paint coating after the clay paint has dried.
