<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector for forming a grounding part on a cover member so as not to be protruded from a housing. <P>SOLUTION: The grounding part 22 extends along with a housing body 10 by being bent nearly at right angles from an edge part of a top plate 21 of a cover member 20. The grounding part 22 includes a folded edge part 23 formed by a folding process in a direction toward a housing body 10 side and a folded over part 24 and it is grounded to a circuit board or the like at a position of the folded edge part 23. The housing body 10 includes a housing part 12 formed to house the folded over part 24. Furthermore, the housing body 10 includes a locking part 13 formed at a position opposed to an end part of the top plate part 21 side of the folded over part 24. The end part of the top plate part 21 side of the folded over part 24 and the locking part 13 are engaged to prevent a relative shift between the housing body 10 and the cover member 20 in a direction separating a bottom part 11 from the top plate part 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
