PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method and an image processor capable of reducing a circuit area. SOLUTION: The image processing method, in the image processor 1 provided with a cache memory 16 having a plurality of first entries each capable of holding a plurality of image data and allowing the image data to be read in the units of first entries, comprises a step S11 of generating first addresses A0-A3 of a plurality of image data corresponding to image coordinates X, Y; a step S30 of determining whether the plurality of image data corresponding to the first addresses A0-A3 are held in the same first entry; a step S32 of generating one of the first addresses A0-A3 of the plurality of image data as a second address when the plurality of image data are held in the same entry S31; and a step S23 of reading the image data from the cache memory 16 based on the second address.
