PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the disadvantage that a cut-off material is carelessly blown far away when discharged.SOLUTION: A CPU 111 of a control circuit 110 of a label preparation device 1 executes first processing for cutting a printed label tape 109 with a movable blade 41 while abutting a press roller 52 against the printed label tape 109 and holding the tape between the press roller and a drive roller 51 by executing energization to rotate a drive motor 43 in one direction; second processing for reducing the rotation speed of the drive motor 43 by interrupting energization during a predetermined interruption period t after the first processing; and third processing for restarting energization after the second processing, to discharge a cut-off material of the printed label tape 109 held between the press roller 52 and the drive motor 51 out of a device body 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 20 |
