Provided is a coating composition giving coating films which have excellent tight adhesion to the bases and are excellent in terms of non-tackiness, hardness under high temperatures, and wear resistance. The coating composition is characterized by containing nonfusible polytetrafluoroethylene, a fluoropolymer (excluding the nonfusible polytetrafluoroethylene), and a heat-resistant resin (excluding both the nonfusible polytetrafluoroethylene and the fluoropolymer), the content of the nonfusible polytetrafluoroethylene being 10-60 mass% with respect to the fluoropolymer.
