PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk member having high productivity and capable of reducing costs even while suppressing variation in the thickness of a phosphor layer, and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: Luminance variation can be suppressed, by forming thickness peaks at least at two places when measuring a width-directional center thickness of a phosphor layer formed on a glass substrate in a circumferential direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 21
