A light guide plate is provided with a light outgoing plane and a light incoming plane arranged on the periphery of the light outgoing plane. Light entered from the light incoming plane is outputted from the light outgoing plane. The light incoming plane is provided with a plurality of first end planes and a plurality of second end planes which protrude in an external direction from the first end planes in plain view. The first end planes and the second end planes are alternately arranged along the periphery of the light outgoing plane.
