METHOD FOR PRODUCING CATALYST-SUPPORTING FIBER STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extremely simple method for producing a fiber structure having high ability to degrade harmful chemicals. SOLUTION: The method for producing the catalyst-supporting fiber structure comprises the steps of: dissolving a fiber-formable organic polymer and a catalyst precursor in a solvent to prepare a solution; spinning the prepared solution by an electrostatic spinning method; accumulating a spun fiber on a collection substrate to obtain the fiber structure; and treating the catalyst precursor contained in the obtained fiber structure to form a catalyst.
