<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that prevents inclination of the image forming apparatus itself, which occurs due to the movement of the gravity center. <P>SOLUTION: Four image forming units 30a to 30d aligned to one another within a main body casing 10 are slid by the elastic force of an elastic body 16 when the cover 18 of the main body casing 10 is opened. When the image forming unit 30a of the four image forming units, which has been located the furthest forward is detached by being disposed in a detaching area, the second image forming unit 30b is slid to the detaching area where the unit 30b can be detached. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
