PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yarn twisting machine for producing one twisted yarn from two raw yarns, solving a problem that defects such as hanging down of the yarn are caused due to a lack of tension. SOLUTION: In the yarn twisting machine 1 with which a yarn feed package 10 is mounted above a frame 2 and a gate tensor 49 for providing a second yarn Y2 unwound from the yarn feed package 10 with tension at the yarn upstream side of a twisting apparatus 8 below the frame 2 is installed, a ball tensor 48 is arranged at the yarn feed side of the gate tensor 49 and the gate tensor 49 and the ball tensor 48 are laid at the bent part of the yarn guide of the second yarn Y2.
