<p>A matrix resin composition comprising at least one thermoset resin component, such as epoxy, epoxy novalak, cyanate ester, bismaleinide, phenolic, phenol, novalak, vinyl ester, polyester polyamide or benzoxazine, at least one curative component, such as an aliphatic, cycloaliphatic and/or aromatic amine, such as dicyandiamide and at least one inorganic nano-scale particulate, such as silica filled epoxy resin. Also disclosed is an uncured fibre-resin assembly comprising the matrix resin composition; a cured composite material comprising the matrix resin composition, wherein the composite material achieves greater than 300,000 cycles under a flexural load of 850 MPa at 90{C and a method for the preparation of the cured composite material.</p> |
