<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable composition for color filters having good pattern forming property and capable of forming a colored pattern excellent in adhesion to a support even when a colorant is contained at high concentration, a color filter having a colored pattern excellent in resolution and adhesion to a support, and a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The curable composition for color filters contains at least one selected from the compounds represented by formulae (I) and (II) (not shown), a photopolymerization initiator, a polymerizable compound and a colorant. The color filter using the composition and the method for manufacturing the color filter are also provided. In the formula (I) or (II), R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>each independently represent a monovalent substituent; R<SP>3</SP>-R<SP>6</SP>each independently represent H or a monovalent substituent; n represents an integer of 0-5 and n' represents an integer of 0-5, provided that both n and n' are not 0. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
