<p>The propulsion unit is fastened actively and waterproof to a water-tight cell, which is accessible from the inside of the displacement room of the cell. The cell has a water tight manhole, a clearing unit and water-tight entries for the passage of supply conduits for the propulsion drive. The propulsion unit has a fastening pedestal having a flange witht he conduit passages connected to the cell. The sealing connection elements as accessible from outside the cell, and the displacement body, while the elements for the active connection are accessible from inside the cell. The unit can be an exploratory or research type vessel.</p> |
