<p>The slide for front seats of motor vehicles comprises a specially formed profile (1, 2). These are assembled inverted to form four channels (3) containing polished metal balls or rods or nylon cylinders (4). The upper form can slide over the lower with minimal friction. The upper form is fastened directly to the upperside of the seat and the lower form to the vehicle main structure. Thus from the geometry of the profiles the upper and lower profiles will not separate (vertically) in an accident.</p> |
