The present invention relates to an apparatus for assembling a coil spring protective tube, and the purpose of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for assembling a coil spring protective tube, capable of sensing a protective tube in a non-contact manner using a color sensor to assemble the protective tube at a target location accurately and stably. The present invention provides an apparatus for assembling a coil spring protective tube, comprising: a spring support, in which a coil spring is placed to have a horizontal position, and which moves the coil spring to a standby position and an assembled position; a first feeding unit for inserting the protective tube, which is temporarily assembled at one end of the coil spring transferred to the assembled position by the spring support, into the coil spring through the rotation operations of two first feeding rollers; a second feeding unit, which is disposed adjacent to the first feeding unit to receive the protective tube inserted into the coil spring by the first feeding unit, and which inserts the protective tube to the target position through the rotation operations of two second feeding rollers; and a sensor unit for generating a signal by sensing the protective tube when the protective tube arrives at the target position, wherein the sensor unit comprises: a finger unit coupled with any one of a plurality of winding parts provided in the coil spring; and a color sensor, which is connected with the finger unit to behave together with the finger unit, and generates a signal by sensing the color of the protective tube when the protective tube inserted into the coil spring arrives at the target position. |
