PURPOSE:To obtain a novel method of industrially manufacturing thin inductors in a mass production while maintaining higher quality by forming an intermediate blank of original shape and forming individual inductors from the blank. CONSTITUTION:A copper wire 4 for a connecting terminal similar to the copper wire 3 for a terminal of starting end side is connected with the finishing end side of a copper plate 2 to form an intermediate blank 5, and the blank 5 is placed in liquid of insulator to be impregnated. The blank 5 after drying is laterally cut in a predetermined thickness by a cutting tool such as a diamond cutter, and polished by suitable means. The thickness of the component 6 after cutting after polishing becomes that of the individual thin inductor. This component 6 is impregnated to serve as an inter-layer insulator the winding unit 2, resists of copper wires 3, 4 are removed after drying, and solder-plated to complete individual thin inductors.
