摘要 PURPOSE:To accurately perform a sound generation assigning process by accurately generating timbre with a slow attack and timbre with a different release. CONSTITUTION:Whether or not all the sound generation channels of a musical sound synthesizing circuit 11 which outputs plural musical sound signals by the sound generation channels are in sound generation is detected and when the state wherein all the sound generation channels are in the sound generation is detected, whether or not there is a sound generation channel in key releasing operation is detected; when there is the sound generation channel in the key releasing operation, the sound generation channel of the musical sound signal having the lowest envelope level among the sound generation channels in the key releasing operation is truncated and when there is no sound generation channel in key releasing operation, a sound generation channel detected by a process different from the case wherein there is the sound generation channel in the key releasing operation is truncated. Then the truncated sound generation channel of the musical sound synthesizing circuit 11 is assigned for the generation of a new musical sound according to the truncation result and new key operation information outputted from a key board 4.
