<p>PURPOSE:To provide a torque limiter for electric toothbrush, which can damp the oscillation of a toothbrush when a high load is applied to the toothbrush and which can cancel the damping of the oscillation of the toothbrush at need. CONSTITUTION:A torque limiter for electric toothbrush is provided with a driving gear 4 to be rotated by the driving torque of a motor 52, a driven gear 6, to which the rotation of the driving gear 4 is transmitted for rotation, and a pin 9 and a crank shaft 57 for converting the rotation of the driven gear 6 to the oscillation of a toothbrush. A sliding member has the structure for generating the slip when a high load is applied to the driven gear 6. Consequently, efficiency of the transmittance of the rotation from the driving gear 4 to the driven gear 6 is lowered to reduce the oscillation of the toothbrush.</p> |
