<p>PURPOSE:To provide a liquid crystal display device performing accurate color display without mixing the colors of adjacent color picture elements. CONSTITUTION:A color filter 1 is constituted of a green(G) color filter 2, a blue(B) color filter 3, a red(R) color filter 4 and a luminance(I) color filter 5; and each of the color filters 2 to 5 is formed as a regular triangle. As for the arrangement of the color filters 2 to 5 forming one multicolor display element, the respective color picture elements which are also formed as the regular triangle by bringing one side of each of the color filters 2 to 4 into contact with each side of the color filter 5 are concentratively arranged in comparison with the conventional rectangular one, and interference between the multicolor display picture elements is reduced, so that cross color disturbance is prevented from occurring.</p> |
