<p>PURPOSE:To uniformly distribute and feed liquid over the whole packing material by making at least one nozzle hole in the lower part of a main pipe and installing a liquid diffusing member whose upper part is formed into a curved or bent or planar face and whose side part has the inclined or hung form below the nozzle holes. CONSTITUTION:In a liquid distributor by which liquid to be treated is distributed and fed from the upper part of the inside of a mass and/or heat exchanging column over the whole cross-sectional part of the column through distributing pipes 3, a main pipe 2 and a plurality of the distributing pipes 3 connected to the main pipe 2 are arranged. At least one nozzle hole 14 having an arbitrary form is made in the distributing pipes 3 at arbitrary positions. At least one nozzle hole 4 is made in the bottom parts of the main pipe 2. Further, a liquid diffusing member 5 whose upper part is formed into a curved or bent or planar face and whose side part has the inclined or hung form is installed below the nozzle holes 4 of the main pipe 2. As a result, liquid is uniformly distributed over the packing material in the mass and/or heat exchanging column.</p> |
