PURPOSE:To remove the polishing unevenness of the work stock surface by reciprocating a belt guide mechanism in the right and left directions orthogonal with the feed stock direction and press-fitting an endless sanding belt to the work stock with conditioning it by the stepping pad making its movement in the right and left directions impossible. CONSTITUTION:A feed stock device 2 is composed by bridging a feed stock belt on fore and aft rolls, driven by a motor, rollers 14, 15 are pivotally supported by a bearing 16 on a link frame 11 and the rotation of a motor M2 is given via a spline shaft 17. A support cylinder 25 is erected on the upper face of the link frame 11, a steering frame 31 is supported oscillatably and an endless sanding belt 41 is bridged on the belt guide mechanism consisting of rollers 14, 15, 30. The link frame 11 is moved to the right and left by being guided by a guide shaft 26 via sprockets 37, 38, an eccentric pin 39 and a crank 40 by a driving motor M4. The stepping pad 23 of a pad device 21 is fixed to the support plate 4a, 4b of a frame 4, the stepping pad 23 and belt 41 are relatively moved to the right and left without following up even if a belt driving mechanism is moved to the right and left, the belt 41 is conditioned in a plane shape and press-fitted to the work stock. |
