PURPOSE:To provide a flower pot enabling to supply a required amount of water from a water-absorbing member into the main body of the pot, to supply oxygen contained in air to the roots of a plant and also to soil through many penetrated holes, and further to prevent the rot of the roots for the stimulation of the growth. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical pot main body 3 is set on a dish main body 2 having a water-receiving part 1. Many penetrated holes and slots are made in a U-shaped drain board 4, which is subsequently located on the bottom of the pot main body 3. A water-absorbing member 5 comprising porous unglazed pottery pieces, etc., is located in the drain board. |
