PRODUCTION OF COMPOSITE MOLDED PRODUCT HAVING POROUS CORE AND MOLDING MATERIAL THEREOF

摘要

PURPOSE: To inexpensively produce a lightweight composite molded product having a sandwich structure having a core part composed of a syntactic foam layer and the surface parts each composed of a dense fiber reinforced resin layer provided to both surfaces and integrated as a whole without using foamable resin particles. CONSTITUTION: At least two reinforcing fibrous sheets and separation films are superposed one upon another so that the respective separation films are positioned inside and a particle-containing resin compsn. containing a liquid molding resin and rigid lightweight filling particles (e.g. glass balloons) with a mean particle size of 0.01-2mm is arranged between the mutually opposed separation films to form a laminate composed of reinforcing fibrous sheet/ separation film/particle-containing resin compsn./separation film/reinforcing fibrous sheet. This laminate is pressed to squeeze out the liquid molding resin contained in the particle-containing resin compsn. between the separation films to infiltrate the same into the upper and lower reinforcing fibrous sheet layers and heated in a mold in this state to cure the liquid molding resin.
