<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily obtain a revulcanizable fluororubber useful even as an O-ring, etc., by treating a cross-linked and vulcanized fluororubber waste with a superstrong acid. SOLUTION: This cross-linked and vulcanized fluororubber is obtained by treating (A) a cross-linked and vulcanized fluororubber with (B) CH3 SO3 H, ClSO3 H, CF3 SO3 H or fuming sulfuric acid. When the component (A) contains a filler, the component (A) is preferably treated with the component (B) and then dissolved in a solvent such as acetone to separate a filler without dissolving in the solvent. For example, the component (A) is added to the component (B) in an amount of about 0.5-20 times and the treatment is preferably carried out at about 50-200 deg.C for about 0.1-100hr. Flashes, wastes, etc., produced in vulcanization molding of a fluororubber with a polyol, etc., are preferably used as the component (A).</p> |
