<p>A tube or rod joining device consisting of a tubular body (1), a tensile element (2), and a worm screw (3), which together assemble a butted tube (4) at a pre-determined angle to a through tube (5). The tensile element (2) is looped around the through tube (5) and tensioned by the worm screw (3) and retained at the other end by a ridge on the tensile element acting against the tubular body (1) thus fixing the assembly. Variations in through tube (5) diameter are accommodated by differing strap lengths.</p> |
