PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely grasping a biological tissue such as a vein first and cutting the biological tissue after then by providing a grasping part grasping the biological tissue adjacent to a forceps part cutting biological tissues so as to perform the motion of cutting the biological tissue by means of a forceps part in the state of grasping the biological tissue by means of the grasping part. SOLUTION: A spindle 15 is disposed between the tip parts of the supporting pieces 14 of the tip side parts of the holder 12 of forceps for medical operation 10 to pivot a pair of blade bodies 16 to the spindle 15 to constitute the forceps part 13. The blade bodies 16 are open/close-driven by an operation rod inserted through into an insertion shearth 11 through the side of an opening/closing operation machine 18. Then a tissue inserting and holding member 25 in the form of a frame of a nearly L-formed cross section is provided at the crest part of the other blade body by projecting on the side of a fitting surface and the height of a tissue inserting and holding piece part 27 from a bottom wall part 26 is formed higher than the height of a blade part 22. When the blade body 16 and the other blade body bite each other, the part 27 faces to the rear face of the blade body 16 before starting to cut tissue to insert and hold the tissue between the part 27 and the rear face of the blade body 16.
