<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a front lid from opening even when force in a direction for opening is applied to the front lid due to a shock by external force or an external factor when a cassette in a storage case drops by providing a rib for preventing the front lid from opening at a position corresponding to the vicinity of a side face on a side without at least a lid lock member on an upper face of the front lid of the cassette. SOLUTION: An upper plate 32 is formed with a position regulating rib 34 for regulating a position of a tape cassette 50, while ribs 35 for preventing a front lid from opening are provided at both ends facing an upper face of a front lid 52 of the tape cassette 50. Thus the front lid 52 may not instantaneously open to come over a fore-and-aft position regulating rib 23 even if the tape cassette 50 receives a shock such as external vibration or drop while being stored, thereby preventing the front lid 52 from being kept open inside a storage case. Therefore deposition of dirt and dust may not occur in the storage case nor the front lid 52 may distort, resulting in no deformation of the front lid 52. Thus reliability of the tape can be secured, and deformation of a component of the cassette can be prevented.</p> |
