METHOD FOR ACIDIFYING STAINLESS STEEL OF MARTENSITE GROUP

PURPOSE: An acidifying method of martensite stainless steel is provided to prevent a generation of a defective stain. CONSTITUTION: To prevent a defective stain generated in a surface of strip when a stainless steel of martensite group is acidified, a temperature of a mixed acid bath is reduced at 35-45°C and a concentration of nitrogen is reduced at 100-120g/l. The strip is washed with water of a chlorine ion concentration under 35ppm. The strip is dried with an air spray of high pressure. Thereby the stainless steel of martensite group is produced.
