PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a long life filter while respective deodorizing constituents are decomposed and removed by a photodecomposing function by coming efficiently in contact with various odor constituents at a low pressure loss by a method wherein at least a photocatalyst and an adsorbent are supported on a three-dimensional network structure protected by an inorganic binder. SOLUTION: A photocatalyst deodorizing filter is prepared by supporting at least a photocatalyst and an adsorbent on a three-dimensional network structure protected by an inorganic binder. After supporting the photocatalyst and the adsorbent on a plastic foam having a specific thickness at that time, that is cut out. Thereby, the photocatalyst deodorizing filter can be easily prepared. Further, the photocatalyst deodorizing filter wherein the number of cells in the three-dimensional network structure of a base material is especially 6 to 35 pieces/25 mm, though the thickness is thin, can improve air-permeability while a shape is kept. Further, deodorizing of aldehyde can be effectively executed by using high silica zeolite as the adsorbent. |
