<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball which can achieve excellent flying distance performance, control performance and hitting feeling which cannot be obtained by a conventional solid golf ball. SOLUTION: This golf ball is constituted of a core 2, two layers or more of intermediate layers 4 and 6, and a cover 8. Then, on the external surface of the innermost intermediate layer 4 (wrapping layer) which covers the core 2, a protruding rib 10 which enters the intermediate layer 6 being adjacent to the wrapping layer 4, is formed, and at the same time, the hardness of the wrapping layer 4 is set higher than the core and the hardness of the intermediate layer 6 being adjacent to the wrapping layer 4.</p> |
