PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lithographic printing plate material having improved printing resistance, dimensional stability and sensitivity by forming an image forming layer which does not substantially require a developing process on a polyethylene naphthalate film or a plastic film containing a fiber. SOLUTION: This lithographic printing plate material 4 consists of a polyethylene naphthalate film or a plastic film 2 containing a fiber, and an image forming layer 3 which does not substantially require a developing process formed on the film. The image forming layer 3 is a hydrophilic image forming layer containing a hydrophilic resin and oleophilic thermoplastic resin particles having the melting point of 90-130 deg.C or the glass transition temp. (Tg) of 50-80 deg.C. The hydrophilic image forming layer is formed by the self film-forming property of the hydrophilic resin. The opposite surface of the supporting body to the image forming layer 3 is fixed through an adhesive layer 5 to the cylinder surface of a printing machine, and printing is carried out. |
