<p>A method for detecting an ε-polylysine-producing bacterium which comprises detecting a bacterial strain having a base sequence originating in plasmid pN033; and a process for producing ε-polylysine characterized by using the strain detected by the above detection method. By using the detection method as described above, an ε-polylysine-producing bacterium can be easily detected. By using the process for producing ε-polylysine by using the strain obtained by the above detection method, ε-polylysine can be produced at a high efficiency.</p> |
